Our friends and family include a lot of gamers. Knowing our kids are hanging out on Fortnite has put a lot of pressure on us to play the games. But HEY we really want to connect with our kids where they already are. It’s also become apparent that they’re excited adults in their life are interested in their hobbies!

Every Wednesday, my family and friends get together on our Chronicler Parents & Kids Discord. We all jump on World of Warcraft Classic together - three whole generations! With two grandmas healing and a mom tanking, the teens fit right into a casual family raid night. We can boot up the computer knowing that connection is a click away.

Yet not every family has time to invest in leveling MMO characters. For the more casual player: we’ve also had fun playing games like Valheim, Deep Rock Galactic, or Outward.
